Products manufactured by Extreme CCTV are backed by warranty from the date of original purchase, except that this warranty is limited to ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase for any Extreme CCTV product that is used for rental or commercial purposes, or any other income-producing purpose. This warranty does not apply to any software or firmware provided with or built into the circuitry of Extreme CCTV products. All software or firmware is subject to separate license, support and maintenance terms, including separate limited warranty terms.
This warranty extends to the original retail purchaser only and commences on the date of original retail purchase.
During the warranty term, any part of the Extreme CCTV product manufactured or supplied by Extreme CCTV, excluding consumables, and found in the reasonable judgement of Extreme CCTV to be defective in material or workmanship will be, at the sole option of Extreme CCTV repaired or replaced by an authorized Extreme CCTV service dealer without charge for parts and labour.
The Extreme CCTV product including any defective part must be returned to an authorized service dealer within the warranty period. The expense of delivering the Extreme CCTV product to the dealer for warranty work and the expense of returning it back to the owner after repair or replacement will by paid for by the owner. Extreme CCTV's sole responsibility in respect to claims is limited to making the required repairs or replacements and no claim of breach of warranty shall be cause for cancellation or rescission of the contract of sale of any Extreme CCTV product. Proof of purchase will be required by the dealer to substantiate any warranty claim. An authorized Extreme CCTV service dealer must perform all warranty work.
This warranty does not cover any Extreme CCTV product that has, in the opinion of Extreme CCTV, been subject to misuse, neglect, negligence, or accident, or that has been installed and operated in any way contrary to the operating instructions as specified in the Extreme Operator's Manual. This warranty does not apply to any damage to the Extreme CCTV product that is the result of improper maintenance or to any Extreme CCTV product that has been altered or modified. This warranty does not extend to repairs made necessary by normal wear or by the use of parts or accessories which are either incompatible with the Extreme CCTV product or adversely affect its operation, performance or durability.
Extreme CCTV reserves the right to change or modify the design of any Extreme CCTV product without assuming any obligation to modify any product previously manufactured.
All implied warranties or conditions including merchantable quality, merchantability, durability, fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise, are disclaimed in their entirety and waived by you. Extreme CCTV's sole obligation under this warranty is strictly and exclusively limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts, and Extreme CCTV does not assume or authorize anyone to assume for them any other obligation. Some jurisdictions do not allow waivers of implied warranties or conditions, in such event all implied warranties or conditions that cannot be waived are limited duration to ninety (90) days for products used for any commercial purpose within the warranty period for products used for any non-commercial purpose.
Extreme CCTV assumes no responsibility for incidental, consequential or other damages including, but not limited to expense of returning the Extreme CCTV product to an authorized service dealer and expense of delivering it back to the owner, travel time, communication charges, rental of a like product during the time warranty service is being performed, loss of use of the product, loss of time, or inconvenience.
Except as provided herein, this warranty applies to all Extreme CCTV products manufactured by Extreme CCTV.
Extreme will repair or replace, without charge, any merchandise proved defective in material or workmanship for a period of 2 years after the date of shipment.
Exceptions are as noted below:
5-year warranty on the following products shipped after October 1, 2007:

* consumable components not included under warranty

Warranty Returns and Repairs
If your Extreme CCTV equipment proves defective, please contact the authorized dealer from which you purchased the equipment, or Extreme CCTV if you purchased directly from the company for a Return Authorization Number (RA). In all cases the defective equipment will be returned to the authorized Extreme CCTV repair center.
All returns must have an RA # issued by Extreme CCTV. RA #'s are valid for 30 days. Any equipment received without a valid RA # will be returned at customer expense. All returns should include a completed copy of the RA form. Freight on all returns must be prepaid.
All returns are subject to an evaluation. Valid warranty repairs & replacements will be completed at no charge and returned to the customer using the same method of shipment that it was received from. Any equipment returned but found not defective is subject to an evaluation charge of $50.00.
Should a defect occur within the first 30 days of purchase Extreme CCTV will at its sole discretion provide an advance replacement if requested and required.
Purchase order coverage is required to secure advance replacements. A credit will be applied only upon receipt and evaluation of the returned equipment to verify the defect.
If upon evaluation the cause of failure is determined to be outside the warranty coverage, the owner will have the option to have the unit returned with or without repairs at the owner's expense. If an advance replacement has been issued against such equipment, the owner is responsible for the full purchase and payment of the advance replacement.
Beyond the initial 30 day period Extreme CCTV will repair or replace the defective unit while under warranty at its sole discretion after receipt and evaluation.
